# PDF / PNG / Lucidchart exports

Howly exports your canvas in three formats, each suited to a different use.

  <Card title="PDF canvas export">
    Exports the current canvas exactly as it appears on screen, in landscape, with a "HubSpot Workflow Map" header, a Howly.io attribution, and the generation date. The image fills the page at the highest quality available, preserving your layout, zoom, and visible connections. Controls, minimap, and sidebars are excluded. Use it to present a high-level map to clients or leadership.

    Exports the current view as a PNG image, capturing exactly what's on screen. Use it to embed your map in slides, documents, or reports.

  <Card title="Lucidchart export">
    Exports your map as a BPMN file that Lucidchart imports directly. Each workflow becomes a task element, preserving name, status, object type, triggers, and actions as metadata. Connections export as sequence flows labeled by connection type. Import the .bpmn file into Lucidchart for a fully editable version to annotate or share.
