# Property Impact

Property Impact scans every workflow and builds a complete map of every HubSpot property referenced anywhere across your automation, including:

* Properties used as enrollment triggers
* Properties evaluated in branching conditions
* Properties being set or updated by actions

Results are organized by property category (Contact, Deal, Company, and so on) and ranked by how many workflows reference each property.

## How to use it

    Open it from the toolbar.

  <Step title="Find a property">
    Use the search bar to find a property by name, and filter by a specific property value if you need to.

  <Step title="Review where it's used">
    Select a property to see every workflow that references it and the role it plays in each: read as a trigger, used in a branch, or written as an action.

  <Step title="Jump to any workflow">
    Click a workflow name to open its detail panel on the canvas.

  The main use is change impact assessment. Before renaming, deprecating, or changing a property's values in HubSpot, run it through Property Impact to see exactly which workflows would be affected. For high-use properties this reveals a blast radius that isn't obvious from looking at individual workflows.
